Thursday 12th August – The groaning woman….

Sorry for the late post, but all these late nights are starting to take their toll…we’re getting old you know!
Derek was on form again last night, bouncing around the Hero of Waterloo like a teenager. Sam was really put through his paces helping to make contact with those “on the other side”…
It’s always great to meet our ghosthunters and last night was no different – Natalie and Karina (our number one and two ticket holders!) had a lovely time chatting to Derek over drinks, as did (skeptic) Carol and (more skeptic) Garry. Rolla and Chris made friends with Natalie and Dean and were super spooked by a rattling window in the top dining room! Elizabeth and vomiting stalker Michelle were our super-brave cellar sleuths, while Kylie and Mark (hope you had a safe trip guys!) and Nicole and Adam enjoyed a few bevvies at the bar with our super-star from Scouse-land!
But top star of the night goes to the all-lady team in the top dining room who managed to convince this skeptic that there was someone/something there when a “female groan” was heard…perhaps a one-off, until we asked again and sure enough, a 2-3 second groaning sound was accompanied by the EMF going feral. Have to admit, it raised a few hackles on the back of the neck.
And just as an aside…while I write this, team member Andrea is upstairs shouting “Oh my God, what was that”. Turns out the villa we’re staying in has a few spirits…or maybe we’re just seeing ghosts everywhere!
